Anne Marie Bevolden-Wen

Ms. Anne Marie Wen loves teaching second graders!  She has taught second grade at LACS since 2001! Ms. Wen has also taught 6th grade at Ida Price Middle School,  fifth grade at Ukarumpa International School in Papua New Guinea, and fifth grade at Sartorette Elementary School.
Ms. Wen has a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, an elementary teaching credential from San Jose State University, and a CLAD credential from University of California Riverside. Ms. Wen’s training includes Slingerland, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System,  and Step Up To Writing. She especially enjoys teaching the Bible and writing. In her spare time, Ms. Wen enjoys hiking with her husband, taking trips with her family, and praying. One of the things she enjoys most about teaching second graders is that there is never a dull moment.
