Vilma Rondez
Vilma has been part of the faculty at LACS since 2021. She grew up on the Central Coast of California and continues to reside in the area. Vilma has a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Southern Christian University, Alabama, and holds a teaching credential from Associated Christian Schools International (ACSI). Her passion for special education has led to her training in various multi-sensory programs including Educator Level 1 Orton-Gillingham; Wilson Reading & Language System; Making Math Real; Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics & Sight Words (SIPPS); and Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
With over 15 years of experience in elementary education, Vilma has worked with students with learning differences and helped them succeed in her mainstream classes. Vilma was also a reading specialist at public elementary schools where she worked with non-English and bilingual speaking students.
Vilma enjoys spending time with her ever-growing family. She is passionate about missions and serves, alongside her husband, as a board member and short-term missionary of a non-profit Christian organization.
